Quinn, Vera E. Vera E. Quinn, 78, Baraboo, passed away on Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at St. Clare Hospital. Vera was born on Jan. 30, 1925, in Reedsburg, the daughter of Julius and Della (nee Voight) Zellmer. She married Donald C. Quinn on Nov. 14, 1944. Vera had been employed at Industrial Coils and then retired from Neco Hammond after 28 years. She had also enjoyed waitressing at many area restaurants. She liked to play cards and go bowling in her spare time and was an excellent cook. After retiring, she loved the companionship of her little dog, Haven. Most importantly, Vera really loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Baraboo. She is survived by six daughters, Karen Clary, West Baraboo, Sharon (Edwin) Winchell, Baraboo, Marilyn (Albert) Morrow, Tomah, twins - Patricia (Rick) Sefkar, Baraboo, and Pamela Fichter, Baraboo, and Carolyn (Fred) Marquardt, Baraboo; 20 grandchildren, Angela, Dawn, Jill, William Jr., Julie, Edwin Jr., Tiffany, Wendy, Alison, Matthew, Mark, Ryan, Derek, Emily, Abby, Stephen II, Quinn, Melissa, Tyson and Christina; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Martin Zellmer and Emil Zellmer, both of Baraboo; a sister, Carol Rapolz, Kansas City, Mo.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Vera was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; two brothers, Roy and Edward Zellmer; a sister, Leona Chism; two infant brothers; three grandchildren, Cindy Winchell, Justin Marquardt and Morgan Sefkar; and a son-in-law, Bill Clary, Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon today, Wednesday, Oct. 1, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Baraboo. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Friends called from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept, 30, 2003, at the Redlin Funeral Home in Baraboo; and may call today, Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
